The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASWA) is the legislation that keeps us all safe whilst at work. A key aspect of complying with this act is to provide relevant information, instruction and training to all employees.
Health and Safety in the Workplace is structured in 3 levels.
Level 1 – Principles of Health and Safety
This course is ideal for induction and awareness of basic health and safety principles for young persons or new employees within organisations or individuals wishing to commence health and safety qualifications.
Level 2 – Foundation Health and Safety
This course also covers Level 1. The course is ideal for team leaders and supervisors to assist in health and safety compliance. This course provides you with the knowledge of safe practices that are essential in the workplace.
Level 3 – Intermediate Health and Safety
This course covers elements from both levels 1 & 2. The course is aimed at supervisors and managers to enable them to have an all-round knowledge of health and safety compliance that affects their duties within the workplace, and to promote a positive health and safety culture within their organisation.
