Pivot Steer (Flexi/ Bendi)

Known as ‘flexi’ or ‘bendi’ machines, Pivot Steer trucks have an articulated mast that makes them multifunctional.

The pivot steer truck resembles a standard forklift with the exception of an additional function to swing the mast to a 90-degree angle to either side by way of the truck being articulated.

Pivot steer trucks are most commonly used within the warehouses with very narrow aisles and high racking systems, however they can also be utilised outside.

  • Controls and instruments
  • Starting/ moving/ stopping/ steering the truck
  • Hydraulic controls
  • Battery care
  • Replacing/recharging gas cylinders
  • Weight assessment
  • Handling laden and unladen pallets
  • Driving on/off ramps and inclines
  • Stacking/ de-stacking free standing racks

Course duration (based on 3 people)

Novice candidates: 37.5 hours
Experienced candidates: 20 hours

Refresher candidates: 7.5 hours 
Conversion candidates: 15 hours
